Content Checklist required by Dubai Municipality
- The artwork is a static or animated image; in line with UAE outdoor advertising regulations, video content is not permitted.
- Arabic is used and is correct in speech, structure, and writing, in a recognized Arabic font. Colloquial UAE language is acceptable.
- Arabic covers at least 50% of the artwork surface. If English is used, the Arabic text is larger and more visible, placed above the English or on the right side.
- The content is compatible with the provisions of the Islamic Sharia, public order, public decency, and the traditions of the emirate, and includes no religious symbols, slogans, or events incompatible with the Sharia, and no phrases or slogans with immoral connotations.
- The photos used are decent, and the content is accurate, objective, and credible.
- The advertisement is clear and easily understood, and we will officially clarify the meaning of the content if asked.
- The advertised company is UAE-based and holds a license issued by the relevant authorities.
